  3. Hi I love your inspirational blog and have a request : Please try to meet the legendary Dr APJ Abdul Kalam -and just funnel some of his inspiration for the world. Personally I think he could be the only leader alive in the world today that can really give people a reason to believe. I am in the process of setting up a project called Thepeopleuniversitysa and I’m posting from Thepeopleslibraryct. We’d love to exchange links with you. Kind Regards Fayrooz Bint Asad

    • Hello Kathie, There are 3 ceiling panels in CSMVS: one for Brahma, one for Shiva and one for Vishnu. Together they make up the trinity. I have put up images of all three and captioned them accordingly. The one I have stated to be Brahma is Brahma. I have not captioned him Vishnu at all. I am not too sure where you saw it captioned as Vishnu. Vishnu is the one resting on the coiled snake. If you scroll through the images you will see it. Perhaps my captions were not clear enough. 🙂

  6. Superb posts on Ajanta and Bagh. Very happy that you’ve linked your posts to the late Prof Walter Spink’s copious writings. I’ve been his student and been deeply inspired by his work. Keep writing!

    • Thank you, Shubha. Welcome to my blog. I believe it is not possible to write about Ajanta and not mention Prof Spink. He was, and will remain, the foremost expert on the site and its treasures. You are lucky to have been his student.

I hope you continue to enjoy my posts. Keep well. Keep safe. 🙂

  8. We’re on the same page about not monetizing our blogs, and funnily enough a lot of people find this strange as they have this preconception that having blogs means making money. You write very beautifully and take really nice photographs too. Keep writing and sharing your stories! Fingers crossed we’ll get through this pandemic sooner than later and be able to travel again.

    • Thank you, Bama for your lovely comment. Means a lot to me. Needless to say, I am a big fan of your blog and learn every time I read any of your posts, both in terms of content and ‘how’ to write an interesting, read-worthy post. You are one of the finest bloggers I know.

I have never felt the need to monetize my blog. I feel a blog gives way more freedom when it is not tied with money. I know I will continue to travel and write whether there are sponsors or not. I know I can write about what I want to write about. The choices are not sold. 😊

Yes, I will travel as soon as restrictions are lifted. Indonesia has appeared on my bucket list. I will be going through your blog with a fine comb to glean every bit of info and tips possible!

    • Hello Anna, welcome to my blog, all the way from Australia. I had a look at all the places you have been to. Gosh, it is no small list! I like exploring places that are off the beaten path. Thankfully, there are still many such places left in the world. I hope you get to explore Uzbekistan, Iran, and Morocco some day. These countries are pure magic.
