Overseeing the Thimphu valley, bestowing blessings, peace and happiness on the whole world, is the ‘Made in China’ Buddha Dordenma, a 51-meter tall bronze Sakyamuni statue filled with 125,000 smaller statuettes of Buddha, and a huge chapel inside its base. The site is to be completed in 2016.
